Filecoin's first batch of ProPGF grants over $3.6 million to 14 teams

Filecoin has successfully completed its first Public Goods Grant (ProPGF), awarding $3.6818 million to 14 teams to build infrastructure, develop tools, and provide key services to drive the next generation of Filecoin applications. ProPGF, initiated by Protocol Labs, supports forward-thinking projects with grants awarded every six months, with the second round expected to launch in October 2025. This grant covers a range of areas, from high-performance data retrieval to programmable transaction allocation. Initial funding will begin this week. Teams not selected can apply in the fall or explore other funding avenues.
