Circle's proposed Arc blockchain will use USDC as its native gas

The chain is compatible with EVM and is aimed at applications such as cross-border payments, stablecoin derivatives, on-chain credit and capital market settlement. It is expected to open for public beta this fall and launch the mainnet in 2026.
