Celo Foundation Appoints Elizabeth Peng as Chief Operating Officer

The Celo Foundation announced the promotion of Elizabeth Peng to Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this role, she will be responsible for driving the "Vision 2030" initiative, which aims to foster critical adoption and growth of the Celo blockchain and ecosystem, including scaling the on-chain economy and promoting positive impact use cases. Elizabeth joined the Foundation in May 2022. Previously serving as Head of Communications and Head of Marketing and Communications, she led Celo's transition from an independent EVM-compatible Layer 1 to Ethereum's Layer 2, and furthered Celo's influence within the global crypto ecosystem.
