The U.S. Department of Justice announced that it will no longer prosecute decentralized software developers under Section 1960(b)(1)(C).

The policy, announced by Matthew Galeotti, acting head of the DOJ's criminal division, at an industry summit in Wyoming, stressed that other charges could still apply if criminal intent is demonstrated.
