The bank also significantly increased its investment in Bitcoin ETFs. In the fourth quarter of 2024, Goldman Sachs invested $1.5 billion in Bitcoin ETFs, with its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) holdings increasing by 88% to $1.27 billion, and its Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) holdings increasing by 105% to $288 million.
