The total value locked (TVL) of decentralized lending protocol Aave hit a record high of $41.1 billion on August 24. This size would rank 54th among U.S. commercial banks, surpassing Prosperity Bank, which has a deposit size of $38.4 billion, and is only $300 million away from surpassing Bank OZK.
