Singapore lost S$456 million to fraud in the first half of the year, with cryptocurrency scams accounting for 18%

Singapore's fraud losses in the first half of 2025 amounted to S$456 million, a year-on-year decrease of 12.6%. Cryptocurrency fraud accounted for 18% of the total, reaching S$81.6 million, and the anti-fraud department recovered S$56.7 million.
