UK trade groups lobby for blockchain technology to be included in UK-US tech bridge

Ahead of President Trump’s visit to the UK next week, British trade groups are urging the government to include blockchain technology in any tech innovation cooperation agreement it signs with the US. In a letter to Business Secretary Peter Kyle on Thursday, more than a dozen groups representing the financial, tech, and cryptocurrency sectors said distributed ledger technology should be a “core part” of a “UK-US Tech Bridge.”
