South Korea's BDACS launches KRW1, the first stablecoin backed by the Korean won, on Avalanche

South Korean crypto asset custody service provider BDACS has launched the first Korean won-backed stablecoin, KRW1, on the Avalanche blockchain after a successful proof-of-concept. The stablecoin is fully collateralized by won deposited at Woori Bank.
