Australian regulators ease regulations on stablecoin intermediaries

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has provided regulatory exemptions for stablecoin intermediaries, allowing them to distribute cryptocurrencies issued by Australian licensed institutions without having to hold a separate financial services license.
