Crypto neobank Shield completes $5 million seed round led by Giant Ventures

Cryptocurrency neobank Shield announced Monday that it has closed a $5 million seed funding round led by Giant Ventures. Other participants in the round included Chris Dixon's a16z crypto startup accelerator, Factor Capital, as well as strategic angel investors Coinbase and Bank of America. The company said it has raised $7 million to date.
