Aster's open interest surges to $1.25 billion, surpassing Hyperliquid

Aster, a decentralized perpetual swap exchange on the Binance Coin (BNB) blockchain, saw its open interest surge nearly 33,500% in less than a week. CoinGlass data showed on Wednesday that its open interest surged from $3.72 million the previous Friday to $1.25 billion, as traders flocked to challenge competitor Hyperliquid.
