The whale began to reduce its holdings five months after building a position at the bottom of ETH at $1,582. It first deposited 1,000 ETH (worth $4.01 million) to the exchange. If it sold it, it would have made a profit of $2.426 million. The remaining 5,000 ETH still had a floating profit of $12.16 million.
