Gold hits record high, US gold reserves value exceeds $1 trillion

Data shows that as gold continues to set new historical highs, the value of the U.S. Treasury's gold reserves has exceeded $1 trillion, equivalent to more than 90% of the surplus value on the government's balance sheet, and this figure is still increasing.
