Singapore plans to postpone implementation of Basel's new crypto asset capital requirements until 2027 or later

The Monetary Authority of Singapore released a consultation summary, proposing to postpone the new bank crypto asset capital regulations based on the Basel Committee's "Cryptoasset Exposures (SCO60)" from the original January 1, 2026 to January 1, 2027 or later.
