Prediction market Kalshi raises over $300 million in new funding, bringing its valuation to $5 billion

Prediction market Kalshi plans to announce Friday that it has raised more than $300 million in a new funding round that values the company at $5 billion. The company also plans to disclose that it will begin allowing customers in more than 140 countries to place bets on its website.
