An anonymous hacker bought 8,637 ETH (US$38.01 million) on October 2nd at an average price of US$4,400. Ten days after holding onto the tokens, they encountered the October 11th flash crash. In a panic, they sold all their tokens at US$3,778, ultimately losing US$5.37 million. This wiped out all of August's revenue.
