The International Monetary Fund raises its growth forecasts for the world and major economies

The IMF expects the global economy to grow by 3.2% in 2025 and 3.1% in 2026, a slight upward revision from its July forecast. It also projects global inflation to fall from 5.8% in 2024 to 4.2% in 2025 and 3.7% in 2026.
