New York City Mayor Eric Adams signed an executive order establishing the nation's first mayoral Office of Digital Assets and Blockchain. The new office will encourage the responsible use of digital assets and blockchain technology and will be led by Moises Rendon, who has worked in the digital asset sector in New York City for over a year.
