Tether nominates executives to Juventus board, seeking to expand influence at the club

In an announcement on Thursday, Tether said it had nominated its deputy chief investment officer, Zachary Lyons, and Francesco Garino, an orthodontist and "lifelong Juventus supporter," to the football club's board of directors. Tether said: "Since announcing our investment in the club, we have listened carefully to the voices of fans in Italy and around the world, receiving valuable suggestions, feedback, and calls for deeper collaboration. We have made proposals, which will be voted on at the General Meeting, to amend certain articles of association and adopt best-in-class corporate governance and minority representation mechanisms." Following investments in February and April, Tether holds a 10.7% stake in Juventus.
