A North Carolina man claims $3 million worth of XRP is missing from his Ellipal cold wallet.

Brandon Laroque, a retired American in North Carolina, reported that on October 15th, while checking his balance on the Ellipal mobile app, he discovered that over $3 million worth of XRP had vanished. He admitted he didn't expect to recover the funds, but hoped his story would serve as a reminder to others to keep their cold wallets offline. He subsequently reported the incident to the FBI and other authorities, but faced difficulties in quickly contacting professional investigators.
