Anza: Solana will replace the existing SPL Token with p-token, reducing computing overhead by up to 98%

Officials say that currently about 10% of block computing units are used for token instructions. P-token can reduce CU usage to an extremely low level, freeing up nearly 12% of block space to improve throughput.
