Ripple Labs is in talks to lease upper floors of Brookfield Corp's newest London skyscraper

Ripple Labs Inc. is in talks to lease office space on the upper floors of Brookfield Corp.'s newest London skyscraper, part of which is currently among the most expensive in the UK capital's prime financial district. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that Ripple Labs plans to lease approximately 90,000 square feet of office space. Brookfield Corp. is offering a rent of approximately £140 per square foot, a premium not only among the highest in the City of London but also comparable to prime rents in the city's exclusive Mayfair neighborhood. If the deal goes through, it would highlight the recent surge in rents in the City of London.
