Audrey Tang: Infrastructure has been gradually improved, and Ethereum should focus on application implementation in the next ten years

Audrey Tang, founder of the Ethereum Application Alliance (in preparation)/Shanhaiwu, stated at the ETHShanghai 2025 main forum that the Ethereum ecosystem's infrastructure has been gradually improving, and the focus over the next decade should be on application deployment and sustainable community development. She explained that Shanhaiwu's goal is to create a cross-disciplinary community of builders, bringing together technical developers, AI researchers, and governance practitioners to promote Ethereum innovation through resource connectivity and ecosystem collaboration. Furthermore, Tang noted that the Ethereum Application Alliance, as a non-profit organization, will support the development of public goods, open source tools, and application experiments through structured financing and a global membership system, helping startups move from ideation to market implementation. She emphasized the need for the Ethereum ecosystem to accelerate its transition from infrastructure development to application prosperity, promoting the practical application and implementation of blockchain technology in the real world.
