Tether expects profits to approach $15 billion this year

"This year, we will make close to $15 billion in profit. That's very rare," Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said in an interview on the sidelines of the Plan B Forum in Lugano, Switzerland on Friday. Although Tether's substantial profits do not require external investment, Ardoino said it is difficult to ignore the numerous investment intentions, saying that a large number of companies want to invest and the company has to draw a line when it thinks the valuation is cheap. When asked about the type of investors he wants to bring in, he said that many companies in the portfolios of funds and technology funds may use some of Tether's technology and products, which is about synergy and greater influence, but he did not disclose information about potential investors. He also added that the company's profit margin is as high as 99%, which no other company in the world can achieve. Tether did not disclose whether the cited data followed the reporting standards of listed companies.
