Pan Gongsheng: The People's Bank of China will resume open market treasury bond trading operations

At the 2025 Financial Street Forum Annual Meeting, Pan Gongsheng, Governor of the People's Bank of China, stated that the bond market is currently operating well overall and that the People's Bank of China will resume open market treasury bond trading. Earlier this year, the People's Bank of China suspended treasury bond trading due to the significant pressure from supply and demand imbalances in the bond market and the accumulation of market risks.
