X announced that it will deactivate the twitter.com domain name and require users to rebind security keys and Passkey within two weeks

X claims that its security keys and Passkeys are currently bound to "twitter.com". In order to "retire" the domain name, it requires accounts using hardware security keys or Passkeys to re-register to "x.com" within two weeks, otherwise the keys will become invalid and the accounts will be locked.
