OpenAI completes restructuring, nonprofit foundation stake valued at $130 billion

The OpenAI nonprofit organization has been renamed the OpenAI Foundation, which holds a stake in its for-profit subsidiary, OpenAI Group PBC. The Foundation will invest an initial $25 billion in two key areas: healthcare and AI resilience, continuing to advance its original mission of "AI for the benefit of all humanity."
