Humanity Protocol has announced a new integration that combines Mastercard's open finance connectivity with Humanity Protocol's identity verification platform, Human ID. This integration allows Human ID holders to verify personal financial details, such as income levels, cash flow, or asset ownership, when opening a Human ID account. Thanks to Human ID's cross-platform portability and reusability, the same verification process can unlock multiple services without requiring repeated Know Your Customer (KYC) checks or data uploads. These facts will be verified using Mastercard's secure open finance technology, transformed into zero-knowledge proofs, and presented in a secure format to lenders, applications, and other blockchain ecosystems. This service will launch first in the United States.
