Japan's Financial Services Agency is considering strengthening regulations on cryptocurrency lending and setting investment caps for IEOs.

The Japanese Financial Services Agency (FSA) held its fifth meeting today with the Financial Services Council's "Crypto Asset Regime Working Group," proposing to include crypto asset lending businesses under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act (FIE) and considering setting an investment cap for IEOs (Initial Exchange Offerings).
