Former BlackRock executive Joseph Chalom called Ethereum "infrastructure" for Wall Street.

Joseph Chalom, co-CEO of Sharplink and former head of digital asset strategy at BlackRock, stated that Ethereum is not just another blockchain, but rather the cornerstone upon which Wall Street will ultimately build its (financial) infrastructure. He believes Ethereum possesses the trust, security, and liquidity that financial institutions value, which is why he has staked his career on it. He noted that Ethereum has a large amount of stablecoin, asset tokenization, and smart contract activity, making it a trusted chain for achieving financial digitization.
