Federal Reserve officials have recently been speaking out frequently about monetary policy. Nick Timiraos, often referred to as the "Federal Reserve mouthpiece," stated that four regional Fed presidents with voting rights (Collins of the Boston Fed, Musalaim of the St. Louis Fed, Goolsby of the Chicago Fed, and Schmid of the Kansas City Fed, who voted against the October rate cut) have not actively pushed for another rate cut in December.
