The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) will pilot tokenized notes and introduce laws related to stablecoins.

The top official of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) said on Thursday that the central bank plans to advance the construction of a scalable and secure tokenized financial ecosystem. To this end, it will launch a pilot program for the issuance of tokenized MAS notes next year and introduce relevant laws to regulate stablecoins.
