The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) will meet on November 19 to discuss whether to develop guidelines on how companies should report cryptocurrency transfers in their financial statements. The board plans to focus on whether to add a section related to the accounting treatment of crypto asset transfers to its technology agenda.
