Apex Group plans to acquire brokerage firm Globacap to boost its tokenization business in the United States.

Two sources familiar with the matter revealed that Apex Group, a financial services provider with over $3 trillion in assets under management, plans to acquire Globacap, a London-based investment platform that owns a U.S.-regulated broker-dealer. This acquisition would help Apex lead the way in U.S.-regulated fund tokenization projects, amid growing interest from professional investors in blockchain-based real-world assets (RWAs).
