The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics revised July's nonfarm payrolls increase by 7,000 to 72,000 from +79,000; August's nonfarm payrolls increase was revised by 26,000 to -4,000 from +22,000. The revised figures show that the combined increase in July and August was 33,000 lower than the initial revisions.
