US stocks closed: Nasdaq fell more than 2%, Nvidia opened higher but closed lower.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 0.84%, the S&P 500 fell 1.55%, and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 2.15%. Nvidia (NVDA.O) fell 3.1%, after rising as much as 5% during the session, Micron Technology (MU.O) fell more than 10%, and Oracle (ORCL.N) fell more than 6%.
