Securitize has received EU approval to operate a tokenized trading and settlement system, and has selected the Avalanche blockchain.

On Wednesday, Securitize received regulatory authorization from the European Union’s Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) pilot program, allowing it to operate a regulated trading and settlement system, making it the first institution to have compliant tokenized infrastructure in both the United States and the European Union.
