This is a stark contrast to the previous fees of tens or even hundreds of dollars per transaction. The transaction fees for several major L2 cryptocurrencies are: ARB $0.004, OP $0.006, and BASE $0.03. The gas fee for BASE, an L2 cryptocurrency, is even higher than that of the mainnet.
