World Gold Council: Global central banks made net purchases of 53 tons of gold in October, the largest monthly increase this year.

Official net purchases of gold have reached 254 tons since the beginning of the year, with Poland leading the way with 83 tons. A WGC survey shows that 95% of central banks expect to continue increasing their gold holdings in the coming year.
