Following his intervention in the Constitution DAO, Citadel Securities CEO Ken Griffin is now pushing the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to regulate DeFi protocol developers as centralized intermediaries. Adams claims that Citadel has been lobbying behind the scenes for a long time and sarcastically remarks that its accusation of DeFi's inability to achieve "fair access" is absurd, reflecting the traditional market makers' aversion to open-source, decentralized liquidity mechanisms.
