US SEC Chairman: The entire US financial market may be on-chain within two years

In a live interview with Fox News, SEC Chairman Paul Atkins stated that he expects the entire U.S. financial market to shift towards blockchain technology, which underpins Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, within the next two years. Atkins said, "The world will do this, perhaps in less than 10 years, maybe as little as two years. The next step will come with digital assets, market digitization, and tokenization, which will bring huge benefits to transparency and risk management."
