The Belarusian government has blocked access to at least three major cryptocurrency exchanges.

The Belarusian Ministry of Information has blocked access to at least three major cryptocurrency exchanges—Bybit, Bitget, and OKX—without explaining its reasons. When Belarusian users attempt to access these websites, the page displays a message: “Access to this information resource is restricted according to a decision of the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus. This is done in accordance with the Law on Mass Media.” A search of the Belarusian General Directorate for Telecommunications Regulation’s database of “restricted access” websites shows that all three exchanges were blacklisted by the ministry on December 10. Cryptocurrency exchanges such as KuCoin and Binance are not currently on the blacklist.
