British MPs from multiple parties are calling for revisions to the Bank of England's proposed regulatory framework for stablecoins.

The All-Party Parliamentary Alliance in the UK has written to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, urging amendments to the Bank of England's draft stablecoin framework. They warn that its restrictions could stifle innovation, lead to capital flight, and weaken London's status as a financial center, and suggest establishing a forward-looking framework to attract investment.
