Nasdaq will formally apply for 5x23 hour trading.

Nasdaq is planning to file a document with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday to launch 24/7 stock trading services. Nasdaq plans to extend trading hours for its stocks and exchange-traded products (ETPs) from the current 16 hours a day, five days a week, to 23 hours a day.
