The FCA's "Cryptoassets Consumer Research 2025" shows that the number of crypto holders in the UK has decreased from approximately 7 million to approximately 4.5 million, representing a drop from 12% to 8% of the adult population, but the average holding per person has risen to approximately $2,500. About 21% of respondents held between £1,001 and £5,000. Crypto awareness remained at 91%.
