Britain will investigate the role of cryptocurrencies as part of a broader review of the country's political financing laws, triggered by a bribery case involving a Reform Party politician. On Tuesday, Communities Secretary Steve Reed told the House of Commons that the review would examine foreign funding interference in British politics, with a report due by the end of March. The findings will be incorporated into election and democracy legislation the government plans to push forward next year.
