Crypto venture capital firm Shima Capital is quietly ceasing operations. Three weeks ago, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a lawsuit against the company and its founder, Yida Gao, accusing them of "participating in a fraudulent scheme" to deceive investors.
