Arca CIO: Many new investors mistakenly believe that investing in Bitcoin will allow them to capitalize on blockchain growth opportunities.

Arca's Chief Investment Officer, Jeff Dorman, stated that there remains a significant disconnect between Bitcoin as an investment and the overall growth of the blockchain ecosystem. While stablecoins, Real-World Asset Tokenization (RWA), and DeFi are experiencing rapid growth, discussions on Wall Street and in the fintech sector focus more on how to leverage stablecoins and RWA for issuance and fee collection than on the investment itself. Meanwhile, most investors' attention remains focused on Bitcoin, resulting in less research and discussion about its value on Wall Street. Many new investors mistakenly believe that investing in Bitcoin will allow them to capitalize on blockchain growth opportunities; however, Bitcoin is not directly correlated with the growth of decentralized finance, stablecoins, and RWA within the blockchain space.
