This represents a 51% increase compared to 2024, totaling approximately $6.75 billion. Attacks primarily targeted centralized services, albeit in small numbers, but at enormous scale. Bybit was hacked for approximately $1.4 billion, with DPRK accounting for 76% of server-side attacks this year. The amount stolen from personal wallets decreased to approximately $713 million, representing a drop from 44% to 20%, but the number of incidents increased to 158,000.
